Hi, I'm Coree

I've been a therapist since 2014 and I'm going to be straight with you: I actually like this work
I get that it's my job, but also figuring out how to turn what I learn about being human into something that's useful for others is basically my life hobby
With divorced parents, my childhood was split between trying to catch the attention of my busy, emotionally unavailable mother, and time with my dad, who is great
I didn't go to my own therapy until after graduating from therapy school. Two people in my life died around the same time and I was a therapist who'd never been to therapy. Umm...hypocrite. So I went
Then I became a new mom and entrepreneur at the same time, which promptly dismantled every coping skill I thought I had. The overthinking, the people-pleasing, the doubts, all surfaced at once
I've wanted to be a therapist since I was young because I wanted people to feel less alone. That hasn't changed. I show up for all of you, not just the parts that are easy to look at
Why I specialize in mental health for women
I think women and girls are the best! Powerful and insightful, adaptable and intuitive. Divinely feminine
But the pressure, anxiety, and burnout can make you feel disconnected from yourself and the life you're working hard to build
Here's what I want you to know: most of the time, there are really logical reasons why you feel the way you feel and do the things you do. My job is to get close enough to your story to see those reasons clearly and reflect back, of course you'd feel that way. Anyone would
That's usually where things start to shift
Witnessing those "lightbulb moments," when things click and you start shedding the weight of others' expectations, never gets old
If this sounds like what you've been looking for, I'd love to meet you!
