High-Achiever Anxiety Therapy for Women

You've built
The Life...

Why doesn't it feel the way you thought it would?

Do these thoughts cross your mind?

  • What was all of this even for?"

  • Holding yourself to standards you would never expect of anyone else

  • I'm not even happy

  • I'll just do it myself, it's faster

  • No one notices when I need help

  • If I can just get this one thing done, then I'll rest

What it looks like on the outside:

  • You built something real and you know it

  • The optics are nailed down

  • People say, "I don't know how she does it all"

  • You rarely complain or ask for help

What it feels like on the inside:

  • "I can't figure this out. What is actually going on?"

  • "Stop telling me to take a deep breath. It's not working"

  • "Do you even know how much I have on my plate?"

  • Superwoman on the outside. Running on fumes on the inside

  • Restless

  • Secretly desperate for someone to really notice

At every stage of life, it looks a little different

College-aged women

You're crushing it and you know it. But you're probably living at full volume in every direction.

Big nights, big deadlines, big feelings. And there are days when pushing through takes a little more than it used to.

Your body might already be sending signals. You're just too busy to stop and listen

Adult women

By now you've tried everything: better supplements, a weekend away, doubling down at work.  Somehow none of it is moving the needle the way it used to.

You notice the absences more than anything.  Joy. Energy.  Patience.  A sense that your relationships are actually working.  The things that used to recharge you aren't doing their job anymore.

That's not a discipline problem.  It's your system telling you something important

All of this often shows up alongside...

Perfectionism

Panic when things don't go as planned

Intense focus on meeting external goals - good grades, career success, recognition from others

People pleasing

The strategies that got you here are not the same ones that will help you enjoy it.  That's frustrating to hear after everything you've worked for

And yeah, the idea of slowing down or connecting with your body probably feels a little suspicious

That peace you're looking for?  It's actually achievable

Here's where we start...

This is therapy for women who have built something real and can't figure out why they're not enjoying it the way they thought they would.

Most women come in thinking their anxiety means they're failing at something.  I think of it as the first signal that you're actually just changing.  Something in you is ready for a next step and in therapy, we put that something on a platform so you can learn from it.

From there we figure out why the external messages aren't sinking in, what you actually want, and we allow that wanting to bubble up and start taking it seriously.  There's no fixed protocol here.  I work differently with every woman I sit with, and that's entirely on purpose.

What to expect

1/  Reach out and I'll get back to you directly.   Send me an email coree@pathtowellnesscounseling.com

2/  From there, we'll find a time for a free 15-minute video call. It's a chance for you to ask questions, get a feel for how I work, and decide if you'd like to become a client.

3/  From there, you'll know if it's a fit

How we meet

I see clients in person at my office in St. Paul, virtually, or a mix of both — whatever works best for you.  If you're in Washington state, we'll meet virtually.

Most clients start weekly. Sessions are 55 minutes.  That said, we'll figure out what actually fits your life.

Have you been wondering...

?

Why can't I relax even when everything is going well?

Because you've been 'on' for so long that 'off' feels wrong.  Rest is not yet your reward to finishing everything.  But my guess is you want to change that

?

Is high-functioning anxiety actually a real thing

Yes, absolutely.  It's especially common among women who are really good at what they do.  The drive that got you here can make it hard to hear your own signals for rest.  It's not a character flaw, just a pattern worth looking at

?

Why am I successful but still feel anxious all the time?

You get things done.  You have your whole life.  So when your body says rest, it's not laziness, it's your system doing exactly what it needs to do.  Trust it.  The work will be there when you're ready
